I got the idea for this painting from Paul Clark and he got the idea from a drawing he saw in Hitchin and Hertfordshire. There once was a local artist by the name of Samuel Lucas and his paintings are hanging in a museum in this quaint little English town.

I use high quality 100 percent cotton watercolor paper and lightfast paints. I will seal it and apply a dustcover on the back so no need for that glaring glass.
